I couldn’t contain my excitement when Morgan & Corey reached out to me for their Fioretta Chicago IL Wedding at the penthouse! I had the pleasure of photographing their city hall elopement ceremony prior (just the three of us) and they are the sweetest people ever!! Their vision for a wedding celebration with a Chicago rooftop view was absolutely perfect—just their closest family & friends gathered to celebrate their special day. It had such an intimate vibe even though there was 80+ guests! I LOVED witnessing every moment and we had such a fun time and the details were SO gorgeous! Despite a little rain on the rooftop patio towards the end (which, let’s be honest, only added to the magic!), they embraced the moment and danced away the night listening to their AMAZING band. Chicago IL Penthouse at Fioretta Wedding Venue Details

The Penthouse at Fioretta is a rooftop penthouse event space above the popular steakhouse restaurant. Sitting on the 13th floor, the space offers chic and elegant vibes, there are floor to ceiling windows that offer panoramic views of the Chicago skyline and large doors that open up onto a giant patio for all the guests to enjoy. The indoor/outdoor options made the space feel so spacious and allowed guests to spread out comfortable and move around the room with ease. The whole setting is just drop dead gorgeous and SO Chicago! It definitely set the perfect scene for Morgan & Corey’s wedding.

Morgan & Corey poured their heart and soul into every detail, especially all the loving nods to their two sweet pups who couldn’t attend the big day (the cutest signature drinks and cocktail stirrers)! Their attention to detail and personal style made their wedding so unique and fun to capture! My favorite part of being a photographer is capturing the raw and real emotional moments between couples, and with Morgan & Corey, their love for each other was evident in every photo. Even though the bride tricked the groom with a faux first look (see the Lord Farquaad photos below), there was SO much evident emotion from the first look to the last dance. From the heartfelt moments to the contagious laughter, I had the honor of photographing it all. Overall, the Penthouse at Firoretta in Chicago’s West Loop neighborhood with it’s breathtaking skyline views, perfectly complimented the bride and groom and their fun-loving personalities. It was seriously a day to remember!
